Emily Kwapis successfully defended her dissertation proposal on Thursday February 10th, 2022 and advanced to PhD Candidacy. Her dissertation proposal was titled “Experimental and Computational Investigations into the Physics and Chemistry of Plutonium Nuclear Fireballs using Laser-produced Plasmas”.
