PhD Student and DoD SMART Fellow Emily Kwapis won the inaugural MTV NNSA Consortium Best Student Journal Article Award for her published article in Spectrochim. Acta B titled “Spectroscopic signatures and oxidation characteristics of nanosecond laser-induced cerium plasmas.” She also presented part of this work as well as soon to be published work supporting the MTV Consortium at the Annual MTV Workshop on March 21 & 22 where she received this best paper award.
